Native to Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean islands, the Sapodilla is a unique and incredibly sweet fruit. A recently introduced cultivar, the Butterscotch Sapodilla has an incredibly creamy, rich flavor and texture that's reminiscent of its name.

Due to their dwarf size and slow-growing nature, Butterscotch Sapodilla trees could be a considered a good choice in variety for growing in containers.
